Because every day you keep fighting is a victory.

Still Standing provides encouragement, compassion, practical support, and community connections for individuals and families facing serious, chronic, or life-altering illness — including cancer treatment, dialysis, and other serious or ongoing treatment — as well as the unpaid caregivers who stand beside them. Rooted in cancer support and inspired by the strength of survivors, caregivers, and loved ones, this initiative reminds every person facing a difficult health journey that they are never alone.

The Founder's Declaration

LIFE TRIED THE WRONG WOMAN.

I have been tested, shaken, exhausted, and brought to my knees—but never stripped of my fight. I did not come this far to survive quietly. I am here to build, serve, love loudly, and make sure no one else struggles alone.

I am still here.

I am still fighting.

I am STILL STANDING.

— Felicia Crest, Founder & CEO

Why It Exists

The Heart Behind Still Standing

A serious illness touches every part of life: emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. Still Standing was created to make sure no one has to walk that journey alone, and that individuals and families feel seen, supported, and strengthened from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

While Still Standing began with a heart for those affected by cancer and continues to honor that history, its purpose extends to individuals facing serious, chronic, and life-altering illnesses of many kinds, including conditions that require ongoing treatment such as chemotherapy, dialysis, infusion therapy, and other long-term care.

Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer Survivor

Won’t He Do It!

For me, this mission is deeply personal.

Cancer has touched every branch of my family. The Carter, Crest, and Cromwell families have experienced firsthand the challenges, heartbreak, and lasting impact cancer can have on individuals and the people who love them.

My own journey included a Stage 4 ovarian cancer diagnosis, giving me a deeply personal understanding of the uncertainty, fear, exhaustion, and resilience that can accompany serious illness and treatment.

Over the years, our family has said goodbye to loved ones and friends because of cancer. Those experiences, along with my own journey, strengthened my commitment to creating a program that offers more than practical support. I want every person who receives a Still Standing care bag to know they are not forgotten, they are not alone, and there is a community standing beside them.

Every care bag we distribute is filled with practical essentials, encouragement, and hope because sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Today, I am in remission. I thank God. I’m still standing. 💜
