Our Journey

Why The House of UHS Foundation exists, where we are today, and where we're going together.

Why We Exist

Because No One Should Struggle Alone

The House of UHS Foundation was born from a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves hope, and no one should have to face life's hardest moments alone.

Our founder, Felicia Crest, is a disabled veteran who experienced firsthand the challenges that so many families face — the gaps in support, the feeling of being unseen, and the weight of navigating difficult seasons without a safety net. Through her own journey, she recognized a calling: to build an organization that would stand beside people during their most vulnerable moments.

UHS stands for Unity, Healing, and Support — the three pillars that guide everything we do. Our programs bring these values to life, one initiative at a time.

Founder's Story

Felicia Crest, Founder & CEO

Felicia Crest served her country with honor. As a disabled veteran, she understands the sacrifices made by those in uniform and the challenges that follow long after service ends.

Her vision for The House of UHS Foundation grew from a deeply personal place — from moments where she witnessed the difference that compassion, practical support, and genuine community can make in someone's life.

"Life can change in an instant," Felicia says. "Sometimes people need resources. Sometimes they need encouragement. Sometimes they simply need someone willing to help them find the next step. That's what we're building — a place where no one has to struggle alone."

Our door is open. Welcome home.
