Justice & Reentry Support
You don't have to figure this out alone. Whether we can assist directly or connect you with a trusted community partner, we'll do our best to help you find the next step.
Everyone deserves a fresh start. Through A Second Chance, we offer justice- and reentry-focused resource navigation for people rebuilding after incarceration or justice-system involvement, including connections to employment, housing, education, community resources, and other practical supports. UHS does not provide legal representation, legal advice, mentorship programs, job training, guaranteed employment, or expungement services.
How We Can Connect You
- Reentry and community reintegration resource navigation
- Connections to employment and job-search resources
- Housing and education resource navigation
- Help finding community resources that support people rebuilding
Every situation is unique, and you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We'll take the time to understand your needs, explore available resources, and help connect you with the most appropriate support available.
We are currently building our verified resource directory.
Our team is carefully compiling a trusted, up-to-date directory of resources across Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. While we build this list, please reach out and we will personally help connect you to available support.
